The Present Continuous Tense describes an action that is happening right at this very moment or around the current time.

• In Progress Now: An action that is not finished yet.
• Temporary Situations: Things happening this week/month, but not forever.
• Fixed Future Plans: Arrangements you have already made.

3. When to Use It - Key Signals
Look for time markers: now, right now, at the moment, currently, this week, today.
Look for attention verbs: Look! Listen!

4. How to Use It - Structural Formula
(+) Affirmative:
• I + am + verb-ing --> I am watching TV.
• He / She / It + is + verb-ing --> She is studying.
• You / We / They + are + verb-ing --> We are playing.

(-) Negative:
• I + am not + verb-ing --> I am not sleeping.
• He / She / It + is not (isn't) + verb-ing --> He isn't eating.
• You / We / They + are not (aren't) + verb-ing --> They aren't running.
