Elementary Listening
Listen to two friends, Sarah and Mark, discussing their plans for the upcoming weekend.
Sarah: Hey Mark, the weather is going to be beautiful this weekend. Do you want to do something together?
Mark: That sounds great, Sarah! I don't have any plans. What do you want to do?
Sarah: We could go to the beach. We can swim in the ocean and have a picnic on the sand.
Mark: Hmm, I went to the beach last weekend and I got a bad sunburn. I'd rather do something else. How about hiking in the mountains?
Sarah: Hiking? I don't have good walking shoes. And it's a two-hour drive to the mountains.
Mark: That's true. Well, what about the new city park? We can rent bicycles and ride around the lake.
Sarah: Oh, I love that idea! Riding bikes is fun, and it's much closer than the mountains.
Mark: Perfect. Let's meet at the park entrance at 10:00 AM on Saturday.
Sarah: Sounds good. I will bring sandwiches and some apples for lunch.
Mark: Great! I will bring water and some juice. See you on Saturday!
