School Life
Today is Monday, and it is a very big day. It is Sarah's first day at her new school. She feels a little nervous and shy. She puts on her neat blue uniform and picks up her new red backpack. Her mother drives her to the school and gives her a big hug.
Sarah walks slowly into her classroom. The teacher stands by the door. Her name is Mrs. Green, and she looks very nice. "Hello Sarah, welcome!" she says efficiently. "Please sit here." Sarah sits at a desk next to a friendly girl named Emma. Emma smiles at her. "Do you want to play with me at recess?" Emma asks kindly. Sarah smiles back. She is not nervous anymore; she is happy and excited now.
