Mrs. Smith has a lovely cat named Fluffy. Fluffy is a very white and fat cat who loves to sleep. But one sunny day, Fluffy sees a little blue bird in the garden. The bird flies up into a very tall oak tree. Fluffy wants to catch the bird, so she climbs up the tree, higher and higher.
Suddenly, Fluffy realizes the tree is too high. She looks down at the ground and feels very scared. She cannot come down by herself. "Meow! Meow!" she cries loudly. Mrs. Smith hears her cat crying. She runs outside and calls the fire department for help. A kind fireman comes with a long ladder. He climbs up and brings Fluffy down safely. Mrs. Smith is very happy and hugs Fluffy.
