Books and Reading
Alice loves reading stories more than anything. Every Tuesday afternoon, she visits the local library. The library is a very quiet and peaceful place. There are thousands of books on the tall wooden shelves. She walks straight to the children's section, which has colorful posters on the walls.
Today, she is looking for a special book about horses. She looks at the covers and finds a big book with beautiful pictures of ponies. She takes the book to a comfortable soft chair and sits down to read. She reads for a long time. The librarian sees her reading and smiles at her. Alice decides to borrow the book to take home. She is excited to read it in her bed before sleeping.
