Chores
It is Saturday morning, and Mom comes into my room. She looks around and says, "Please clean your room, it is very messy!" She is right. There are colorful toys all over the floor. My clothes are piled on the chair, and my books are lying on the bed. I sigh, but I start to work.
First, I pick up the toys and put them into the big toy box. Then, I hang up my shirts and pants in the closet. I stack the books neatly on the wooden shelf. Now the floor is clear. I use the vacuum cleaner to clean the carpet. Mom comes back in and smiles. "Good job! It looks great," she says. "You can go play now." I feel happy that my work is done.
